You are allowed a maximum of 14 clubs for a round of golf
Read the local rules before you start to play, these can be found on the back of the score card. If you are paying a green fee ask the pro if there is anything you should know before you play.
Teeing off, the teeing ground is between the two tee blocks and extends backwards by two club length. Never tee off from infront of the tee blocks.
During play you can not ask or offer any advice. Only your caddie or your partner can offer you advice.
Play the ball as it lies, never improve your lie. Only during winter rules can you pick the ball u and clean it when on the fairway, summer golf you have to play the golf ball from where ever it lies.
If your golf ball is in a hazard, i,e, bunker, water hazard you can not ground your equipment.
The ball has to be fairly struck and can not be pushed.
When your ball is on the putting green you can mark, lift and clean before replacing and playing your shot. The flag stick can not be struck by your golf ball when your ball is played from the putting green. So make sure the flag stick is removed before your ball gets close to the hole.
These are some very basic rules of golf, use these rules and keep up with the game infront of you and you will enjoy your game.
